Palestine Today – news studio
Palestine Today’s studio in Lebanon has two centres of gravity, and the design lets them talk to each other. VIPRO planned the room so the bulletin and the conversation each have their own position, their own background and their own light.
Two positions, one room
The anchor desk is a curved white form on a riser underlit in red, in front of wide video walls carrying the Newsroom identity and live graphics. Across the floor, a round interview table sits under a circular ceiling ring, against a world-map backdrop. Shot from the desk side, the table gives depth to the frame; shot from the table, the desk does.
Glass, red and blue
Vertical glass fins etched with the channel mark stand between the zones, catching the light and layering the side angles. The palette is neutral, with red and blue accents and regional motifs in the detail. Programmable lighting scenes keep the presenters clear, from hard news to special features, and the layout leaves room for later upgrades.
