MTV Lebanon – Kitchen Show set
On a cooking show, the food is the one performer that cannot be faked. Pans get hot, steam rises and plates have to be finished on cue, so MTV Lebanon’s Kitchen Show needed a set that works as a kitchen first and reads as a home second.
Built for a live kitchen
VIPRO designed a loft interior: exposed brick, warm timber and matt finishes, a gallery level with a steel balustrade, tall windows onto a city at night and pendant lights over the work surfaces. Matt walls and joinery keep hot spots out of the background while the food takes the light.
- Cooking: two working islands with integrated appliances, concealed ventilation and generous counter space.
- Conversation: a round dining table on a dark circular rug, and a lounge corner for host and guest.
- Cameras: the plan opens towards the camera side, so each zone has a clean shot without moving scenery.
- Light: a layered DMX scheme that treats food, faces and set detail separately.
- Brand: colour accents, logo positions and screen zones for recipes, graphics and sponsors.
Home on screen, studio behind it
The room looks lived-in on camera and still gives the crew clear routes between stations. Brick and timber do the work of making a studio feel like somebody’s kitchen; the plan does the work of making it a place where a live programme can run.
