Nafas Jdeed – talk show set
The best compliment for the Nafas Jdeed set is that it doesn’t look like one. The show is produced by the Digital Republic Initiative (DRI) for a digitally minded audience, and the brief asked for something fresh and personal, so VIPRO designed a living room.
A room, not a set
Plaster and exposed-brick walls, timber floors and open steel shelving full of books and objects give the space a lived-in texture. An orange sofa takes the host, with grey armchairs for guests around low round tables. The Nafas Jdeed logo is set into the plaster wall like a mural rather than a sign.
Depth comes from a large steel-framed window onto a planted wall: green, textured and soft, it fills the wide shots with daylight character without the distraction of a busy view.
Flexibility behind the furniture
Behind the domestic look, the room works as a studio. Breakout corners host side conversations, sight lines stay open for multi-camera coverage, and positions are planned for displays, live social feeds and real-time graphics. Layered, programmable light keeps it warm and natural on camera.
